Improvising pianist - at the Comedy Store. Played for various guest stars including Julian Clary, Jason Manford and Stephen Mangan.

Other:

Ed has also guested as a pianist on various other improv shows including Austentatious, Showstopper! The Improvised Musical and Bumper Blyton where he performed in New Delhi.

ORCHESTRATOR:

Passion:

Hope Mill Theatre revival of the Stephen Sondheim musical starring Ruthie Henshall. The Times said "the scaled-down arrangements for just five musicians are a fine match for such an intimate venue".

Pippin:

In 2023 he re-orchestrated and music directed the first French language production of Pippin in Switzerland, working with composer Stephen Schwartz.

Produced by Mischief Theatre, it had a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022.

Bluff:

He wrote music/lyrics for a new radio play musical with Matt Cavendish, recorded with a full orchestra and cast including Alex Young and Ryan Kopel.

CABARET:

As a cabaret pianist Ed has musically directed shows with performers including Janie Dee and Ria Jones.

TEACHING:

Ed has also worked at various drama schools, including ArtsEd, Italia Conti and most regularly at the Guildford School of Acting, where he wrote music for productions of Treasure Island and Babe.
